Lyke Magazine

Lyke Staff

Editorial Staff:

Raeann Drew, Editor in Chief

Raeann is currently a human, but she might be a tralfamadorian. She likes life in general, but especially is fond of: her family, beer, mead, and strong gin+tonics, (and any of those with good friends and/or wings is the best), electronic music, books, fishing, flea markets, old people, cooking, correct grammar and punctuation, solace, eating burritos (especially from “The Joint” on South St.) catching comedy shows and hanging out with her girlfriend at their various “zoo” buildings. She comes from the land of the Steelers, loves to ask questions, and just wants to make change in the world, that’s all. Stalkers welcome: www.myspace.com/itsrae

Izzy Cihak, Managing Editor

Izzy Cihak spent his high school years at DC clubs, going to see Bratmobile, Sleater-Kinney, and the Bangs, wishing he was a grrrl. Afterwards, he trekked up to Philly, went to art school, and became a journalist, writing for publications like Baltimore City Paper and GirlPunk.Net and joining the staff of Burning Angel and High Voltage Magazine. He’s well versed in uncountable pretentious scenes and genres, such as NY indie films of mid the 90s, 100 Club punk, Midnight Movies, the LA queer scene of the early-mid 90s, gore films, Max’s Kansas City, the new wave of Scottish literature, sleaze rock, Brit pop, and French erotic cinema. Izzy can be found at any given time in Good Dog Bar… he’ll be the one in skintight flares, fur coat, and Morrissey shirt.
