Having trouble thinking about something to write about to write about? This month’s kinda/sorta topic is: Love/Hate

Lyke Mag 215 Mission:

Lyke Magazine wishes to be a virtual extension of the already established Philadelphia lesbian community. Being part of a community means that you have to be a person, and not everyone who is associated with the lesbian community is a lesbian, and every lesbian who is woven into the community is much more than a “lesbian.” Thus, Lyke Mag accepts submissions from anyone and everyone bearing any type of genitals who can speak with understanding and compassion about our community. Likewise, not every submission must speak about being a lesbian. Lesbians are equally associated with the straight world and if they can provide interesting content that reflects that, then so be. As the editor of Lyke Magazine I do not ask that all content be positive either; negative arguments about certain aspects of being a lesbian or the community that are intelligent and well-written are accepted, as negativity is part of life. Lastly, people submitting are not required to submit previous clips. If you’ve never written anything in your life but feel the need to speak then please, do not be afraid to do so! Just please use spell check and only use basic punctuation if you don’t know how to properly use the semicolon and other fun punctuation marks. Pieces will be edited on an as-needed basis. Thank you, I look forward to reading your work!

Sincerely,

Raeann Drew, editor

P.S. Sorry, but I definitely can’t afford to pay anyone right now. If this thing builds maybe that would be a possibility in the future. For right now, the only payment I can offer is the possibility of a hot girl approaching you at a bar and recognizing an article you’ve written which would hopefully lead to you scoring.
